2008 Start up information!!!!

Yes, it's that time again!

Update 4/26/08:

As of Saturday April 26th, the only change I heard from teams is that Team Awesome will not be returning and that a new team led by Beerwolves backup goalie Joe DiGangi, the New Jersey Blend, will be entering the league. More info on this in a few days.

Reminder to all existing teams and new teams: All logos, color schemes, player number, goalie sizes, etc are due May 7th. If I don't get anything, I will use last years info regardless if it is right or I may even assign your team pink jerseys depending on my mood. So please get everything to me so we can have jerseys on time. Once jerseys are ordered, absolutely no changes can be made.
 

Important Dates:

• Monday May 5, 2008: Start of open scrimmages at Rizzo!    Open scrimmages will take place 7pm to 9pm every Monday and Wednesday until the season starts.  I will be on hand to register players from about 7pm to 8pm. 
• May 7, 2008: ALL TEAM JERSEY INFO IS DUE!!!!!!!
• After 8pm, I will be playing and can't take your registration.  So please register online or early in the evening.
• Monday May 26, 2008:  Memorial Day!  The rink is closed - no lacrosse.
• Monday June 2, 2008:  Regular season commences

Fees:

As of right now, the fee schedule will be similar to 2007.  Rizzo Rink has new rink supervisor . . . again.  I have not met the person yet but I will this week.

My number goal for 2008 is to have all team jerseys ready before the season starts.  Therefore, we are having a hard deadline for all team jersey info (jersey color, logo, and numbers) for May 7, 2008.  Teams must be confirmed by this time.  So, Captains do your magic and start making calls now!   If I have no information by May 7th, I will use last year's information.  For newer teams, I will just use a PBLA logo and numbers 1-21. No exceptions.  Once jerseys are ordered, there will be no changes.
